Master of Education (MEd) in Curriculum and Instruction
Expand your impact in the classroom and beyond with a 30-credit program focused on advanced pedagogy, instructional leadership, and educational psychology. You’ll cover curriculum development, differentiated instruction, ethics, and assessment. Tailor your education to your career goals with electives in special populations, gifted education, trauma-informed practice, and educator resilience.
Master of Education (MEd) in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies
Prepare for leadership roles in K–12 education with a 31-credit graduate program that combines core theory with hands-on field experience. Courses cover instructional supervision, ethical leadership, school law, and data-informed decision-making. Through professional studies in equity, communication, and school technology, you’ll graduate equipped to lead change and improve schools at the systems level.
Successful completion of the program satisfies Virginia’s licensure endorsement requirement for an approved program in administration and supervision from a regionally accredited university, including the 320 hour internship.
Master of Teaching (MT)
Prepare to earn your teaching license in Virginia through a 38–44 credit graduate program designed for aspiring educators who already hold a bachelor’s degree in another field. Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies
Designed for experienced educators, this 22-credit post-graduate degree certificate offers the leadership, policy, and operational skills needed for school or district-level administration. You’ll complete foundational coursework in instructional supervision, legal and ethical leadership, and data-driven decision-making—each paired with practicum hours.
